Ari Hoenig drums A native of Philly, now located in Brooklyn, Ari is one of the regions most in-demand jazz drummers. Ari has recently performed and recorded with Josh Roseman of Groove Collective, Richard Bona, and James Hurt for upcoming releases on Columbia and Blue Note. You can catch Ari in any number of NYC jazz clubs performing with an assortment of well-known and emerging new artists. He has performed with Mike Stern, Dave Holland, Joe Lovano, Shirley Scott, Dave Liebman, Kenny Werner, Jean Micheal Pilc, Gerry Mulligan, Jazz Mandolin Project, Bass-X, and others. Ari has toured extensively in the US & Canada, and overseas in Germany, Turkey, Amsterdam, and London. This year Ari also released his first CD of solo drumming entitled ‘Time Travels’.
