Ursula Rucker premiered her new album (almost) in it's entirety tonight....wow, what a show! If you didn't make it out
you really missed something amazing!  12 brand new songs/poems backed up by a phenominal band of tim motzer on
guitars, synths, and electronics; anthony tidd on bass; chuck treece on drums; carlos izaguirre on percussion; and from
baltimore - kevin gift on keyboards, laptop, turntables, and electronics...whew...and if this wasn't enough we also had
the talents of lady alma, vicki miles, fisheye, kufe, and sudan...this was all backed up by the dj'ing of king britt, ron clarke,
and dozia....what a night of magic, amazing textures, monsterous grooves and urgent words flying from the soul of ursula...hopefully, this was not a one-off and this amazing ensemble will make it's way to NYC soon!!!

(britt, dozia, clarke)...the ruckus soundsysdom band will be a world renown crew of: kevin gift, tim motzer, chuck treece, anthony tidd, and carlos izaguirre.
